John O’Connor is an author and illustrator molded by the rhythm of the New England seasons. A former educator turned designer, he draws inspiration from the quiet interconnectedness of the natural world. After spending years traveling, sailing, and living in Northern California, he has returned to Western Mass to raise his family and bring his art to life. His once half-finished canvases have finally found their way into his debut children’s book, and into your hands. When John isn’t teaching his dog new tricks, he spends his happiest hours outdoors with his family.
